Experience K-Food at Sam Gui’s Grill located in front of Xavier University’s gym (Corrales Ave.), this restaurant is not visible from the highway, although there is Korean convenience store and a large signage outside. The restaurant is not that big and there are only a few tables available, but the atmosphere is good and they play K-Pop songs or K-Drama on their TV so the fans will be kept entertained.
They have a good selection of Korean Food available on their menu and all of them looks great.
We ordered Tteokbokki, Samgyubal, Bulgogi Kimbap and an additional lettuce and a pitcher of Iced Tea.
One of our favorites is the Tteokbokki, it tastes salty with a hint sweetness but most of all, it’s spicy. They will let you choose what level of heat would you like, we chose x3 and it was really spicy but it tastes good.
Their food tastes great and it’s affordable especially if you’re in a group, but if you still want more they have a convenience store outside that sells various Korean noodles and other food products.
Next time you’re in for a food trip make sure to drop by here and taste their K-fulfilling dishes.
